What is your location?
Our pickup location is 1007 Gerrard Street East, Toronto, Ontario.
What units are your fabrics sold by?
Except for pre-packaged fat quarter bundles all fabrics are sold per 1/2 yard. All fabrics are cut continuous from the roll or bolt. So for example if you want a 1 yard fabric order a quantity of 2 and we will send a 1 yard piece.
When will my order be ready?
Our typical processing time is 24-48 hours. If you need your order urgently please contact us by phone or email.
Can you add something to my order?
We are happy to add something to your order without additional shipping charges but you must email us at firstname.lastname@example.org before your order has shipped. You MUST email us to have your original order edited. Please do not place local pickup orders for items you wish to combine with shipping orders.

We respond to emails Monday to Friday but during that time we do answer quickly. During the weekend out in-person staff would be happy to help you.
I saw X product on your website is it in store?
Everything on the website is available in store. We don't have any external locations so the stock show on the website reflects the store.
Occasionally with cut to size products (fabric, elastic, etc) there is a tiny bit more than what the website shows. That is because we underlist to overselling. If you see that the quantity on the website is a little short of what you need email us and we can check if there is a little more.
First and foremost we want you love your order. If there is a mistake in your order, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will make things right.
In order to offer any refunds you must contact us within 30 days of receipt.
Packaged Products (i.e. notions, needles, etc)
We will take returns on any unopened packaged products for any reason.
We will take returns on opened packaged products if there is defect with that product.
Fabric and other Cut to Size Products
We cannot offer any refunds after washing.
Please look over your fabric before washing. Generally cut fabric is not refundable unless there is an error on our part or a factory defect. If you are unsatisfied please contact us though and we will work on a solution.
It is normal for there to be small flaws close to the selvedge edge, especially for knit fabrics. Cuts over 5 yards may not come continuous or may have up to one small flaw every 5 yards as many fabrics do not come in longer amounts defect-free.
All refund requests must be placed within 30 days of receipt.
Please contact us before washing fabric. On the rare occasion there is a mix up such as missing item or wrong item sent we will make it right at no cost to you via a refund or replacement depending on exact circumstances.
We specialize in apparel and quilting fabric. Some of the fabric we sell, such as canvas and heavy twill, is also good for light upholstery but it is not our speciality. If you are looking for fabric for light upholstery select a heavy weight woven fabric.
Do you provide swatches?
Most of our fabrics are available as swatches. We charge a nominal fee of $1/swatch with free lettermail shipping or pickup. Look for a swatch button under the add to cart button. We do not offer swatches on some name brand limited edition fabrics.
Help me understand fabric weight?
We try to list fabric weight on each fabric so you can better plan. The characteristics of a given weight vary based on fabric weave. Generally, fabrics less than 120 gsm are consider lightweight and are usually semi-sheer. Fabrics closer to 300 GSM are consider heavy and are suitable for things such hoodies.
