We are so excited to be offering this truly unique collection of organic naturally coloured cotton fabrics. Rather than being dyed all the colours from this line are created with cotton plants that grow in natural colour variations.
100% organic cotton Interlock jersey fabric in cream. A pure colour from our natural Earth. This is a natural, biodegradable and hypoallergenic fabric free of any chemicals. The fabrics in the Purest Cotton Knit range have both the GOTS and OEKO-Tex Standard 100 certifications. We are going to care for the Earth together by sewing with fabrics made from natural, undyed and organically grown cotton.
Interlock knit is generally easier to work with than jersey as it does not curl and is more stable but still have some stretch (about 50% width-wise).
This form of cotton also feels softer to the skin. Naturally colored Cotton is still relatively rare because it requires specialized harvest techniques and facilities, making it more expensive to harvest than white cotton.
