Soft double brushed organic cotton flannel, in a white suitable for dying.
This is the same weight as mammoth flannel, a little heavier than our other Robert Kaufman solid flannel.

I was repairing a quilt made by my grandmother. Its batting layer was made from carded sheep's wool, and in some areas was no longer usable. Modern quilt batts, even low-loft, are much thicker. To replace the wool in a few quilt squares, I thought I'd try flannel. Angela was ever so helpful in answering my questions before I ordered the flannel, colour, weight, etc. It turned out to be the perfect thing to use. Love the quality of the fabrics as well as the service.
In the picture, there's a line around two blocks that I replaced (with flannel inside), and you can see that the loft is similar to the blocks around it (which still have the wool in them)
Lovely to work with and very good quality! Used it as the underside of baby receiving blankets for our granddaughter.

I just used it for stocking tops, but it would make super cozy pjs.
