This might be the softest fabric I've ever felt. It would make some incredible baby clothes, sleepwear, or loose tops. It is somewhat sheer and fairly light weight. It may have to be lined in some applications. Reminds me of the fabric used for Kyte brand baby clothes but even softer. Very silky with a fluid drape.

About Modal Fabric
Modal is mainly derived from renewable Beechwood Trees sourced from sustainable forests.
Developed as a second generation variation of rayon Modal has a very high wet strength and are extra soft touch making it ideal for garments coming directly in contact with the skin.
Fabric is not pre-cut. Multiples are given one continuous piece.

This really is even softer than the kyte brand baby clothes. I've been using it to make baby hats and swaddles and absolutely love it.

I had never sewn with tencel or micromodal before but I took a chance and glad i did.
It’s true to description, so soft and such a lovely pastel green with a subtle sheen. Since it’s so lightweight it worked well for my project to avoid bulk. Recommend for similar uses, might be good for a camisole. I would buy again esp. if offered in other pretty colours.
Overall, my experience has been great with Riverside textiles. Prompt , good communication and customer service. Local pickup option makes it more affordable to buy more often.
