Super soft micromodal is among the softest fibers available. Rare to find in this heavier weight with strong stretch and recovery. This very special fabric is deadstock from Ecolove and was custom knitted in the greater Toronto area.
Can be used for leggings / pants (if not overstretched). See sample photos of how it was used by Ecolove.

About Modal Fabric
Modal is mainly derived from renewable Beechwood Trees sourced from sustainable forests.
Developed as a second generation variation of rayon Modal has a very high wet strength and are extra soft touch making it ideal for garments coming directly in contact with the skin.

I love this fabric and bought it first to do alegging and top, but it was so perfect that I bought it again to do a short legging. The fabric is heavy and thus not transparent, but also extremely soft and very clean in its composition. That are all the reasons why I love this fabric !
Lovely heavy knit, perfect drape for winter dresses that move well. Most modal knits are thin and feel flimsy. This one is strong and easy to sew. I'm buying more before it's gone.
