Mill twisted textured tweed. Tightly spun blue strand is twisted around a looser black strand. Should great a subtle texture effect. 

Our deadstock yarns are source much the same way as deadstock fabric. We have tried to select yarns that are most suitable to hand knitting from the finest cashmere mills in Italy and Scotland. 

Despite being some of the worlds finest yarns our deadstock yarns are a fraction of the cost of typical hand knitting yarns (gram for gram) because they are sourced as deadstock.

Please note that deadstock yarns are usually made originally for machine knitting and thus slightly oiled. They will soften and bloom beautifully after washing.

Suitable for hand knitting, machine knitting, and weaving.
