The latest quilting collection from Liberty Fabrics draws inspiration from the art of collecting. Our designers were informed by the cabinets of curiosities in many of London’s top museums, celebrating the natural and manmade treasures found within. Richly decorative elements of textiles, plasterwork and precious objects from historic country houses also provided a wealth of visual inspiration. Traditionally screen printed onto soft Lasenby cotton.
This perfectly poised botanical consists of delicately drawn daisies, tulips, and roses. Originally created and printed for Liberty in 1965, Oshibana is a nod to the art of using pressed flowers to create sophisticated compositions.
Designed specifically for quilting, our soft Lasenby cotton base is suitable for a range of creative projects, including bedspreads, cushions and cosies. It is machine washable and durable enough for daily use, with each richly coloured design created using traditional screen-printing techniques.
